Terms & Conditions

Nyval AI is operated by Uchenna Fabian Onovo, a sole trader ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and Uchenna Fabian Onovo for use of the Nyval AI app at routineai.org and its mobile builds. By creating an account or continuing to use the service you accept them. If you use Nyval AI for an organisation, you confirm you can bind it; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age.

Your account

• You must be 16 or older and provide a real, working email address.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account.
• One account per person. Do not share logins or resell access.
• Do not misuse the service: no unlawful use, fraud or spam, infringing anyone's intellectual property, uploading malware, probing or attacking our security, scraping, automated bulk requests, or attempts to bypass plan limits.
• Do not use the AI features to create illegal, hateful, harassing or deceptive content, deepfakes or malware, or try to jailbreak the AI. You are responsible for what you submit, for having the rights to any photos you upload, and for how you use the AI's output.
• We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations, and may remove or restrict content or AI output that breaks these rules.

Intellectual property

We own the Nyval AI service, software, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it within your plan. Do not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute it. Rights holders who believe content infringes their rights can email nyvalaisupport@gmail.com and we will review and remove it where appropriate; repeat infringers lose access.

Plans

• Basic is free: dashboard, scoring, unlimited typed food logging, two photo logs per day, exercises, history and profile targets. Voice logging is not included.
• Pro is $13 per month or $99 per year (the yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial). It adds the Plan Builder timetables, saved timetables with the calendar view and in-app routine guidance, plus unlimited text, voice and photo logging.
• Prices are in US dollars; applicable taxes are shown at checkout. We may change pricing with notice; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, renewal, cancellation and refund mechanics for website purchases are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Purchases made inside the iPhone or Android app are processed by Apple or Google under their own terms.

• Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• A failed or reversed payment moves your account back to Basic. Your data is kept, but Pro features lock until payment succeeds.

What Nyval AI is not

Calories, macros, burn figures, scores and timetables are estimates generated by formulas and AI models from what you tell us. Nyval AI is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent anything. It is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, dietitian or coach. Do not use it to manage a medical condition, and stop and seek help if tracking is affecting your relationship with food. You use the estimates at your own risk.

Your content

Meals, workouts, photos, profile details and chats you enter remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the app: to store your entries, send them to our AI provider for parsing and coaching, and show them back to you. We do not sell your content or use it for advertising. See the Privacy Policy for storage and deletion details.

Availability

We aim for Nyval AI to be available continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, and AI providers can be slow or temporarily unavailable. Planned changes that remove a paid feature will be announced before they take effect.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nyval AI is provided "as is" and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including health outcomes, lost data caused by third-party providers, or lost profits.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using Nyval AI and request account deletion at any time. We may terminate an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms; where you have paid for an unused period, we will refund it unless the breach involved fraud or abuse.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction over any dispute.
