Terms & Conditions

These terms are the agreement between you and RoutineAI for use of the RoutineAI app at routineai.org and its mobile builds. By creating an account you accept them.

Your account

• You must be 16 or older and provide a real, working email address.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account.
• One account per person. Do not share logins or resell access.
• We may suspend accounts used for abuse, scraping, automated bulk requests, or attempts to bypass plan limits.

Plans

• Basic is free: dashboard, scoring, text/voice/photo logging, exercises, history and profile targets.
• Pro is R199 per month and adds the Plan Builder timetables, saved timetables with the calendar view and the Ask RoutineAI assistant.
• Prices are in South African rand and include any applicable taxes shown at checkout. We may change pricing with notice; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Payments and security

Pro is billed monthly through Paystack, a Stripe company. Checkout and card storage happen entirely on Paystack's PCI-DSS certified infrastructure — RoutineAI never sees or stores your card number, CVV or bank credentials. We only receive a payment reference and status so we can unlock your plan.

• Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• A failed or reversed payment moves your account back to Basic. Your logged data is kept, but Pro features lock until payment succeeds.
• Disputes and chargebacks are handled under Paystack's processes.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time; Pro stays active until the end of the current paid month and then reverts to Basic with your history intact. Because Pro is a digital service delivered immediately, part-months are not pro-rated. If something went wrong — a duplicate charge, a billing error, or a Pro feature that did not work — email support@routineai.org within 14 days and we will make it right, including a refund where it is warranted.

What RoutineAI is not

Calories, macros, burn figures, scores and timetables are estimates generated by formulas and AI models from what you tell us. RoutineAI is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent anything. It is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, dietitian or coach. Do not use it to manage a medical condition, and stop and seek help if tracking is affecting your relationship with food. You use the estimates at your own risk.

Your content

Meals, workouts, photos, profile details and chats you enter remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the app: to store your entries, send them to our AI provider for parsing and coaching, and show them back to you. We do not sell your content or use it for advertising. See the Privacy Policy for storage and deletion details.

Availability

We aim for RoutineAI to be available continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, and AI providers can be slow or temporarily unavailable. Planned changes that remove a paid feature will be announced before they take effect.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoutineAI is provided "as is" and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including health outcomes, lost data caused by third-party providers, or lost profits.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using RoutineAI and request account deletion at any time. We may terminate an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms; where you have paid for an unused period, we will refund it unless the breach involved fraud or abuse.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction over any dispute.
